Quick Release Pins, also known as Positive Lock Pins, are designed for applications requiring rapid, continuous, and manual assembly and disassembly. In button-operated versions, pressing the button causes the balls to drop below the main shaft, allowing the pin to pass through. When the button is released, spring pressure pushes the balls out, preventing the pin from exiting the hole. The pin can only be removed by pressing the button on the handle, which releases the spring tension holding the pin in place. Button-type pins cannot be removed without pressing the button, while those without a button must be pulled out manually. Our company manufactures these pins in both inch and metric sizes, ranging from Ø6 to Ø60, with T, L, and circular handles, based on customer specifications. While they are typically made from 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance, we also offer them in special alloys like 13-8Mo and 17-4Ph for high-load applications.
